My husband and I are quite voracious water drinkers. He hasn’t had soda for several years, and I moved on from it about 3 years ago. On an occasion we’ll have coconut water, juice, tea, or wine, but with meals, we usually stick with water. As much as I appreciate water and its satiating power, sometimes I crave a little flavor in my drink with my meal. You get me, right?
So, now I’m onto this Iced Tea Lemonade. It’s very easy to make, it’s super tasty, AND it’s healthy.
Here’s all you need:
~Water (I used some coconut water too )
~Tea bags- anything works!
~Lemons
~Sweetener of choice- maple syrup, stevia, organic sugar, agave
Since I was feeling minty fresh that afternoon, I used some mint tea, and, since I am always feeling jazzy, I used some jasmine tea too! My sweetener of choice is, of course, maple syrup because of how rich and delicious it makes everything. Minty-jazzy-lemony-sweetness in a jar. Yum! =)
I even brought a jar with me to a restaurant so I could enjoy it with my meal… that’s how good this is.
—Makes 8 cups
Iced Tea Lemonade (with Mint)
