Granola is one of the easiest, tastiest foods to make. After you’ve made it yourself, there’s a great chance that you will never buy factory-made granola from the store again. What I like most about granola is the variations of ingredients that can be used. This Coconut Almond Granola Cereal is light and delicious. I decided to throw in some cranberries to give it more texture and a little tang.

Coconut Almond Granola Cereal (with Cranberries)
Ingredients:
6 cups Oats
1/2 tsp. of sea salt
1/2 cup Silvered Almonds
1/2 cup Shredded Coconut
1/4 cup Coconut Oil (melted)
1/4 cup Almond Butter
1/4 cup Maple syrup (I use grade B)
*1/2 cup dried Cranberries- Wait until the last 15 minutes to toss these in, otherwise they can burn or become too crispy.
Directions:
In a large bowl, stir oats, sea salt, almonds and coconut.
Next, combine oil and mix well.
Add almond butter and maple syrup.
Pour mixture into two long baking sheets and bake in the oven for 15 minutes at 300 degrees (not preheated). After 15 minutes, remove the pan, stir mixture, and put it back in oven for 15 minutes. Repeat this until your cereal is a toasty golden brown and smells delicious!
