I cannot get enough of this sweet peanut butter! Last month I made regular peanut butter, which was simple and delicious. This one is a bit sweeter. It is the perfect combination of sweet, rich, creamy, and divine! Bliss! I enjoy it so much that I might be eating it whilst writing this post. Mmm..
Enjoy over fresh celery sticks, over fruit, or on crackers.
Sweet Peanut Butter
16 oz Roasted, unsalted Peanuts (3 1/2 cups)
2 TBSP Pure Maple Syrup
1/4 tsp salt (optional)
*Be sure to use unsalted peanuts. Salted peanuts are very dry, and will produce a crumbly peanut butter. If you only have access to salted peanuts, you may want to add 2 TBSP oil.
Directions:
In a high-power blender or food processor, blend all ingredients on high until smooth and creamy.
Store in refrigerator in an air-tight container.
