Last week we bought a great big sack of oranges from the farmer’s market. Juicy, organic oranges for $5.00! Well, they were as ripe as they could be, and we still had about a dozen left. So, we peeled them and tossed em’ into our juicer.
Mmm hmm!
One of the bloggers whom I enjoy following, Kristina Carrillo-Bucaram, aka FullyRawKristina, recently included a tasty recipe video for a raw Banana Float in her newsletter. This was my inspiration for the smoothie below. I didn’t have any frozen bananas, and I had a whole young coconut’s meat to use, so I decided to make a smoothie and get a little creative.
This smoothie turned out to be fantastic! I mixed two different blends together, as you can see in the picture, which gave a sweet surprise in every sip. Mmm!
