Ah! This stuff is a-mya-zang!! It’s so simple, but so satisfying! If you’re craving a more savory juice, this is your pal. And I must share that I’ve never enjoyed tomato juice… until now. I kept the ingredient list very simple: carrots, tomato, and basil. It was just so good, I didn’t want to ruin the amazingness of the simplicity by adding more. Thanks to my sis for the idea of juicing tomatoes!
If you wanted to, you could- with good results- add some ginger or lemon. Maybe even some celery and cucumber. *Quick note: I did not juice the basil; I left it in the juice while it sat in an air-tight container in the refrigerator for a few hours.

Savory Carrot-Tomato Juice
2 large, plump tomatoes (I used vine-ripened tomatoes)
9 large Carrots
1/2 c fresh basil leaves (not juiced)
–Once the tomatoes and carrots have been juiced, stir basil leaves into mixed juice and seal in an airtight container. Set in the refrigerator. It is recommended to drink fresh juice as soon as possible, so I usually make this one in the morning and drink it for dinner. This gives the juice enough time to marinade in the with the basil. Mmm!
