Okay, I know I am juicing right now (see post about it here), but I totally forgot to share these bad boys from last week. Plus, I figured that the majority of you are probably not juicing and might want a non-juice recipe this week. I had so much fun making them and they were so tasty, I ate them all up before even sharing with my husband! Oops 🙂
Just take some bananas, cut ’em in half, and cover in any spread of your choice. Then, roll the banana in the topping(s) of your choice. For the spread, I opted to make a peanut butter spread using pb, dates, and almond milk, but plain pb, almond butter, or date paste would do the job too. For the toppings, I chose raisins, chopped apple, chia seeds, and oatmeal/granola.
Simple concept.
Simple ingredients.
Tasty result.
Banana Pops

PB Spread
1-2 Tbsp nut butter (peanut butter, almond butter, sesame seed butter, etc)

-Blend ingredients in a high speed blender or food proccessor until you’ve achieved the desired consistency. A little chunky isn’t bad in this case =)
